Although the gameplay is straightforward, it’s filled with exploration fun, as each area has its own unique story and tasks to experience.
What stands out most in TOEM is its art style and sound design. The game uses a minimalist black-and-white hand-drawn style, and although the colors are few, the music and sound effects are rich, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The game also touches on profound topics such as life, death, nature, and the universe, adding a philosophical layer to the experience.
Although the game’s structure is somewhat linear, I really enjoy its calming atmosphere and delicate design. If you’re into adventure games with a healing vibe, TOEM is definitely worth trying.
